Hello, I’m Sana. I design and build experiences that connect people with emerging technologies.
I enjoy making complex subject matter accessible and engaging — I've designed and built experiences for healthcare, AI, quantum computing, and outer space, incorporating both scientific context and human needs into my work.
Currently, I serve as Co-Founder and Chief Design Officer at Aurelia Institute, a non-profit space architecture R&D lab. I am also a designer and research affiliate at the MIT Media Lab Space Exploration Initiative.
In the past, I have developed visualizations for genomics applications at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, worked with Visual AI and IBM Quantum teams at IBM Research, and have taught design to engineering students at the Yale Center for Engineering Innovation and Design.
